Pura Vida!

Mortality in bitcoin is a subject worthy of thought.

You can think of mortality as in a person, as in a UTXO, as in a Lightning channel, and many other useful constructs.

A UTXO can “die” if it is spent. A UTXO that doesn’t die, say, because the key to signing a transaction that would kill it is lost, is immortal.

If Bitcoin is an intelligent life form, than too much immortality can be cancerous, or be imbalanced.
