Today started really shitty. But one 80 y.o. man just made my day.

I tried to help him with some translation devices, which at the end didn't work. He was really happy and told me that noone was so nice to him for long time. Then he went home.

After 20 minutes he came back and gave me a chocolate 💚

He totally made my day.

I hope the rest of your day is filled with unexpected kindness.

Little things like that just don’t happen anymore. Like writing actual Thank You cards and mailing them to people, no one thinks how much they mean.

It's the little things that matter.

Some 15 years ago I heard a man outside coughing and he sounded like he is not feeling well.

I got outside to ask if everything is alright. He needed something to drink so I got him a water. He was thankful and walked his way. I did not see the man for 2 or 3 years. But when I was in the market to get some Wodka and red bull for a party the man was in front of me at the cashier. He told the cashier, that he will also pay my items. I looked at him and remembered. He also remembered it. The cashier was amused about the kind act, but he said that he wants to pay it, because he can remember that I once asked him if everything was alright, and this is not usual.

Matter of fact is that when we see each other now (he now lives in a nearby home for the elderly) we always talk about virtually everything. He now knows my son and my wife and is most happy when he sees me with my dog.

A small thing for you can have a big impact on another one!

That is so cool and nice. 💚 Thank for sharing this story.
