Keep it simple ppl gonna tell you to buy a metal plate for $100 bucks hahahah look write it down and stick it with your important papers. My birth certificate is paper and I've held on to it with no one seeing in my house for 40 years lol keep that simple

Been thinking about metal plates. I had a house fire about 10 years ago. Been worried about somethingike that happening again.

The upside to washers is lower cost and presumably better opsec on acquisition. I grid going this route with s blockmit jig but it was sized without enough tolerance for my letter stamps which had some sized too large.

The downside is the work required if ever need to destroy them. Probably easier to just dispose in geographically disbursed way.

I find metal plates are easiest to work with and their flatness also more convenient to conceal.

I think it's just all preference because I mean they sound good ways all that we have mentioned there is no wrong or right way just a responsible way
