Phoenix wallet makes the receiver take the hit on the fee instead of charging the sender a fee? Am I seeing this right? Who uses Phoenix and can confirm this? Shouldn't the receiver always get the full amount??? Otherwise seems highly regarded

I think you mean "retarded" not "regarded". I would like to know the answer to this question as well. I am in the process of trying to analyze the best wallets for my needs.

Spelling it regarded is intentional as a meme

it makes sense for receiver to pay that service fee as it has nothing to do with the sender.

if the fee exceeds amount received, then it should not cost the receiver additional funds.

Agreed.

If I sell something for 10k sats and only receive 8k sats, how does that make sense?

your choice to use the wallet, LSP and ToS?

im not saying its fair, but its not the payers responsibility to pay receiver wallet fees

The sender pays all fees. Except lets say someone pays you on-chain to Phoenix than you pay a conversion fee.. if you send out of Phoenix you will always pay the fees not the receiver

I paid a 10k invoice to myself and only received 8k sats

That doesn't sound right.. sounds like a conversion fee. Also i send from wallet of satoshi a lot and never this fee.. you are doing something wrong
