I’d rather a crying baby than a bratty, misbehaving child. One can’t help it, it’s the only way they can communicate. I can empathize with the parents and the situation.

The other is a result of poor parenting.

That being said, I always wear noise cancelling over the ear headphones on flights. Makes SUCH a difference.
