New users generally see it as a shithole of Bitcoin ad spam, because of how devs like you run things. Not really living up to the potential nostr has for human interaction.
Reality is that Nostr is largely bots, generic "stack sats" posts (make sure you zap those posts every time), and liking/reposting "influencers'" overly optimistic graphs. Good luck finding any remotely ingestible content outside of Bitcoin.
