The Jesus Trilemma
Jesus is either a liar, a lunatic, or is telling the truth: He is God incarnate. He is the Redeemer of mankind.
Lord, open my mind and my heart to trust in you.
God’s blessings to you and your, #nostr friends!

Maybe the truth exists on a plane we can't comprehend, perceive or conceive. Kinda like Plato's cave ...
Just a thought
There is so much that we do not understand with our human pea-brains! We humans carry tremendous brokenness. I realize that I need a Savior to show me the way through this valley of tears. May God bless you, friend
He never said he is God incarnate, neither is it written in the bible. Thats what you've been told about him. Christianity is so much easier to believe when you get this right. Regardless you'll condemn me for saying so, something Christ specifically said not to do.
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? John 14:8-9
We as bitcoiners can tell our normie friends to stack bitcoin, but most won’t listen. We as Christians can tell our fellow bitcoiners to trust Scripture, but most will not listen. Both judgments are coming just on a different time frame.
“…narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Do your own research and you may find it.
I have read the same verse many times and do not conclude it has the same meaning as you imply.
Interesting. I would love to hear your interpretation for discussion sake.
I appreciate the dialogue!
Here is a great quote: “Who do the crowds say that I am?” They said in reply, “John the Baptist; others, Elijah; still others, ‘One of the ancient prophets has arisen.’” Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter said in reply, “The Christ of God.” Luke 9:18c-20
And in all honesty, Philip who had been with Jesus “so long” had a hard time with it as well. So it’s understandable.
Here is another great quote: John, Chapter 6
“Amen amen. I say to you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. The one who feeds on me will have life because of me.”
What a gift!
he is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15)
I cannot condemn you. There is so much mystery, so much that I don’t understand. I would just encourage study and prayer. I have found that the studying both Scripture and the Tradition of the Church that Jesus established have deepened my understanding and faith , giving me a sense of purpose and peace despite my own weakness. We are free to choose. I wish you peace and joy.
Sorry, I didnt realize you are catholic
He is the great IAM ✝️💪🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
