Only certain podcast do v4v, it's not about fountain
To all the bitcoin content creators out there that use nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 - I do pay in sats for listening an as far as I remember there was this promise that this direct creator to audience connection will result in no ads. What happened with that?

I listen through fountain, that's why I'm asking. Shows like those by nostr:npub1pzuqm2zm569vqvvgt6j4t26zhdpzx877nd5sh0g0frqj3halsqysmkl6hp or nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z I think do v4v but I still get adds. Just to be clear I don't mind much but it would be nice not to have ads when you stream sats
If a podcast has adds, then it is not a value for value podcast. The 2 are contradicting. Fountain doesn't enforce v4v, it's just a podcast player with nostr and a wallet built in
