Today I learned alot about billboards just looking at them all day today dashing. Didn't even feel like I was dashing. Felt like I was doing research.
What I learned;
Most billboards are cluttered and jam packed with lots of information to the point you can't get through all the information, in any amount of time before traffic moves. Alot of text is so small you have to basically be right next to the billboard too.
Remind you, I'm TRYING to see the boards too.
Insane.
This being said, I think we can do very good with a community ran nostr billboards campaign using basic designs, super contrasting colors, and LARGE short text.

After my talk with dude today, who didn't approve the origianl no CEO artwork, and research around my own city, I've learned alot and think we can do VERY WELL!

What do you think, should we prioritize directing people to a given site, or just get nostr stuck in their heads, associated with concepts like free speech, and trust that they can navigate an internet search on their own?
We should have a website on them for sure to make sure they get approved by billboard owners.
Everyone's been using Nostrapps.com but open to other ideas aswell.
I wish nostr.com had a cleaner more normie-friendly home page...
If we could find or acquire a nice, short and memorable domain, it would be neat if we could create a simple and friendly directory site that just reiterates some of the points from the billboards and provides links to our most recommended clients for newcomers.

I would say nostr.org is probably the closest to what I'd be looking for without DIY.
The start of the page is a little technical for the average person imo, but aside from that minor complaint it's pretty good. I especially like that it recommends clients based on device/OS.
My sole issue with nostrapps.com is that I feel like the average person who lands there after seeing a billboard will immediately experience paralysis by choice.
