Demo dilemma: the new tile is so much less vibrant than what I bought 15 years ago, but 2 of of these very nice pieces are ¾ inch short. Should I alter the grout line and keep the color, or keep the grid consistent?

Alter the grout line and keep the color. You would be surprised how many people will not notice a shift in grout lines. If someone is staring that hard at the floor, smack 'em in the back of the head.

That's pretty much what I decided... I'm not sure whether the altered line will be under the new cabinets or not, but I'LL KNOW. I'LL KNOW.
