If yes, it does not make much sense, because you cannot have one thing great & others bad. They have to be more or less on the same level or one will bottleneck the other.
Care to give me some decent specs of a good gaming laptop though? I'm having a hardtime choosing, thinking to replace mine

At home and on the go, for some gamerz tournos, will be in Japan Oct and Nov for the tourno, maybe I'll buy there, my current one is also a gamers delight NEC touchscreen from Japan

For example, if you plan to game mostly at home & rarely or never on the go, a PC would be definitely better.
Laptops only make real sense, if you really must use a PC on the go.
