If you are running Android, hold the app icon down until 'app info' pops up. Select that then go into storage/cache. Click 'clear cache' but do NOT click 'clear storage'. If iOS, I would assume something similar

Prior clearing the cache one question since I am traveling and haven’t updated things to my node back home what will I loose then by clearing the cache ?

Clearing cache just deletes cached images. We have more aggressive cache pruning in 1.6 which is currently going through app review

You can always delete the app contents without fully deleting the app. Go to iphone settings > storage > damus
