Fun fact abalones grow approx 1 inch per year especially in their early years so the one pictured is about 3 years old. Not nearly harvestable.

Next time, pack the eggplant just in case 😅

Sometimes the abalone does not want to be harassed, and I doubt this response comes from one stroke of the eggplant. 🤣

😂😂 So we gotta be careful, not every abalone is up for jokes, and not every eggplant strike is just an ordinary one!
