Couple quick thoughts on the vlogs, because the vlogs are really interesting.

1. It humanizes nostr in a way where it feels harder to dismiss nostr as far right bitcoin crazy people etc…

2. The culture around creating the vlogs is very interesting. Seems like people kind of acknowledged it might be cringe early on, but were like whatever let’s try it and have some fun.

3. Feels like early tumblr or something. An organic community of unique creators all doing their own thing in a way that’s separate yet additive to the broader community.

4. No one is trying to go viral so the vlogs are on average very calm, relaxed and authentic.

5. This has happened a few times with my vlogs, but over time I expect more vlogs will get posted on x etc… and become the top of the marketing funnel to pull people over to nostr based on the strength of content.

TLDR: The vlogs are working

SO MY THOUGHTS....

1. The vlogs really put a human face on Nostr. They make it hard to just write it off as some fringe Bitcoin crew it's real people sharing real stories 💪🏼

2. Love how the vlog culture just owns the awkwardness. It’s like, “Might be cringe, but who cares? Let’s have fun!” That energy is so infectious POW 👊🏼

3. DIDN'T REALLY DO TUMBLR....

4. The no viral chasing thing is what makes these vlogs so chill. They’re just people being themselves, no hype, just real and relaxed JUST VIBE STATUS... NAMASTE 🙏🏼

5. I can't see your vlogs and others popping off on X ( I DONT HAVE X ) BUT pulling people into Nostr because the content’s just that good. It’s like a sneaky way to show what... FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE X
