CNBC: "There's no evidence that 3 - 4% Inflation does substantial damage relative to 2%"

Are they so arrogant or are we so naive to accept shamelessly absurd statements at face value.

It's beguiling to me how can say this with a straight face?

Is it because they know their not going to be challanged?

Why would they be so obviously stupid?

I don't understand.. seriously.
