You might laugh at me. But something I wear earphone with nothing playing. I'm just wearing them so I can pretend to be listening to something. You'll be amazed what people are saying around you because they think you aren't listening.

My wife says she wears them outside so that people don't try to talk to her :) But maybe she's really as tricky as you :p
it gives you a free pass from solicitors, they don't even bother trying to chat/talk.
This is fair enough, but what happens when you are meeting up with a friend? Do they stay in? 🤔 That's the bit I'm finding confusing lol
I leave them in and talk normally. If they ask, "I'm not listening to any music,I'm focused on this conversation"
I think it might be considered not-rude/normal now lol. Not sure.
But why are they left in? To not lose them? Let's say you know you're going to be with a friend for at least a couple of hours. They stay in? At an all night party? A dinner party? Under what circumstances do they come out? Lol
