this, i think they would go the route of something like cashu, Amish in say el salvador would likely have no issue doing that. I’m sure there would varying religious opinions on if it’s a currency or not in places that don’t yet consider it legal tender.
Going to be really difficult to self custody without internet or electricity. About the only current workaround woulda need maybe a Satscard
