Anderson powerpoles are the modern choice. Not gendered at all, all are equal. Spooning is literally the most cuddly option.

With Anderson you get into a color debate, and due to the lack of gender ppl sometimes make the pairs with wrong polarization. I keep a “normal” sample in the crimp box just as example of how to oppress the wrong kind.
