Channels are potentially more and more interesting with usage and attractive other interests/focus, and hopefully more non-bitcoin content spilling out. Something like this could happen maybe?

Would that be similar to a hashtag where you could post/read a channel about a specific topic so you can find ppl you don't follow who are talking about it?

I dunno, but misskey has “channels” but I don’t remember exactly what they do.
