Friction in #multisig:

1. Loss of metadata = loss of funds.

2. Compromised metadata = others see your funds.

3. Device firmware maintenance * N.

4. Non-standard implementations couples users to specific software providers, like Nunchuk.

These are severely underappreciated.

Certainly and at a certain amount of #Bitcoin these tradeoffs become worth the improved security.
