It's probably going to get pretty ugly. The gerontocracy is currently picking at the bones of the global economy/real estate/ labor/ entire system and actively trying to stoke just about every discernible group into infighting at some level.
There are millions of people in countries that for the most part are generally disruptive to the society they have found themselves within.
There are a lot of angry young men.
There are a lot of delusional young women.
There are a lot of clueless and unsympathetic older people.
I'd say rather than some forthcoming event that we should all be wary of. We are actually in the beginning or middle of whatever this event is. And because of being so close to it we are unable to see it. Or because we have been so hypernormalised we have been forbidden from seeing it.
Either way. The problem is here. It is what we choose to allow to get us out of it.
If we allow an older out of touch generation to continue to rule over us and flood countries with people that diametrically oppose the values of those countries then that will continue until it doesn't.
If violence is deemed necessary to get what people want then it will undoubtedly occur. Does that make it bad? Is throwing rotting fruit away bad?
Nothing is going to magically stop the ball from rolling at this point and transport us all into the society we want. The ball is going to roll in the direction we push it and I wouldn't doubt that blood will be used to speed things up. Just a matter of whose blood and why.
Well said. I agree. I'm starting to feel like these MFers should be getting nervous.

The masses are getting calls to action and I think Gen Z and Millennials will ultimately decide the path forward.
Ultimately I think we're in a spiritual war, which is why it's hard to identify the "enemy" we need to be fighting. I'm choosing to be on the side of God and hopefully that's enough for me to figure out what to do be doing to get things into a better place for me, my family and my community.
Yeah that's the only path forward. Smaller scale thinking and preserving your people's values through whatever community you have. Even if it's just your immediate family. Culture is what ultimately will drive us forward. Even on the smallest of scales.
I think this is why we see a lot of nostalgia for the 80s/90s right now.
Hell even bringing back things like incandescent light bulbs.
I don't know if we will really even need to see some large scale war effort. That might even feed into the hands of the current controlling class. But there certainly needs to be an amount of real justice. None of this magically goes away without someone or something being held accountable for the last 60yrs (at least) of wrong doing.
I'm hopeful but I try not to be cluelessly optimistic.
