Over the past year, I regularly went through my Nostr contacts and unfollowed accounts that had been inactive for over a month. It's encouraging to see some of those names popping back in my feed this past week. Refollowing those that I see 💜🫂🤙

Absolutely understood. Also, dead weight inactive followers in your contacts consume resources as your client queries relays for notes from them. So it's good to rid your lists of them if irl events keep them from being active on nostr.
