The silent fans I put on my S9K were only running at 700rpm and seemed to be causing a fault that made it stop mining. The stock fans are louder than a shop vac and I can't run them in my bedroom and maintain my sanity. They're so loud you can hear them down the stairwell outside my apartment.

I ordered some 3000 RPM Noctura fans and hoping they work with this miner. They say they're only 42 Db so that should be tolerable. Might plug the S9 into a timer so it shuts off at bedtime and comes back on when it's time for me to wake up.
