Does anyone know what are those tiny handles on the side of maple syrup bottles? Too small for human hands. Not sure what to do with them.

I’m guessing when they used the older Potts, the material they used required it for some reason but idk why, but I’m curious now

They're the handles for your house pixie, but most civilized countries have done away with them by now.
