TARIFFS AVERTED

President Donald Trump and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have reached an agreement to delay for one month, the imposition of the announced U.S. tariffs on Mexican goods.

In exchange, Mexico will deploy 10,000 National Guard troops to its northern border to combat drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl.

And the U.S. will increase its efforts to prevent the flow of high-powered weapons into Mexico.

During the pause, high level American and Mexican officials will negotiate a permanent agreement aimed at enhancing security and trade relations between the two countries
