If that's your opinion on open-source, you just demonstrate you have no clue what open-source is about. It has absolutely nothing to do with entitlement and everything with freedom.

You can choose to stay ignorant or you can choose to invest some time in studying why many developers, including most cypherpunks, are passionate FOSS advocates. There's a reason Satoshi choose MIT. Richard Stallman and the open source manifesto are good starting points
