Most Mid-high paying jobs have a culture with the “work hard play hard” mindset that ties people to sedentary work for most of the day (and also high stress) to make good money. This incentives removing yourself farther and farther away from providing for your own basic necessities (and often health) and instead hyper focus on career (specialization) and just pay to cover all your needs (and often pay to patch up bad health).
