France has historically been more polyamorous than most places in Europe - but the Roman Catholic Church really leveraged blackmail and government power to keep them under a chokehold-for-Christ. Even as recently as this year, there have been bad actors on the political right in France physically attacking non-heteronormative individuals.

To embrace bisexuality and polyamory as part of France’s cultural story in front of the world is monumental and long overdue. It sends a clear message that people should be allowed to engage in any consensual adult relationships without fear. Bravo frères et sœurs!
