Isn't monarchy a form of government ? If yes - then as per your admission it is unnecessary.. am I right ?
I claim monarcy is the superior form of managing a country.
Looking for anyone to convince me otherwise, so take your best shot!
(assuming countries or governments are necessary which I don’t believe is true. This is a purely theoretical pondering designed to challenge the democratically deranged.)

That's right. I don't think it's necessary, but if you have to choose a form of government, monarchy is the way to go. Ideally, of course, we'd have free private cities with private contracts and a profit driven service approach that treats people as customers, not subjects. nostr:npub1lsj8pmgedqqamt89c27tzjjnlf0wn7q7udjm7j2cl9xxz97eacns2mwpee
why would we make a moot choice when you already done the thinking . Let's have free Private cities :-) - at least for argument sake ..
one question - what makes you think these free (private) cities wouldn't be captured by aliens ! There is literally five major wars going on as of date - to land grab !
btw - this free cities model has been tested - before Brits came to India , the Golden Sparrow was literally thousands of free cities .. they all lived in harmony (not peace ) - there were occasional disputes .. then East India Company happened and there goes the free "Riasat" model ..
As I explained in the original post, this is purely a theoretical exercise designed to participate in governmental discussions.
You are right! There are examples in the history of free private cities. So the question is, why don’t we have them anymore, and do we have the incentives and the tools to have them again? We might not yet be there, but I remain optimistic that free cities will become the norm within some generations. It is the natural “state” of things :)
The power configuration of a large collective - be it a nation state , a corporation or social network - is a super complex model.. we don't have tools to even take a stab at it .. for example - it includes geographic location , weather , food , religious beliefs, education , resources under and above the ground , agro outputs .. I mean , we can't even know for sure the exact rate of inflation :-) determining the power system is way too far fetched.. # humility is the best startegy :-) .. it is as if the large collectives have their own consciousness.. way to complex for us mere mortals !
Few things we can learn from history though - a stable structure must evolve natively over many decades and sometimes centuries of back and forth .. and any attempt to suggest a better model from outside is always a disaster .. Spreading Monarchy ( as Brits did in India when they entered ) is as bad an idea as promoting democracy ( as they did when the left )
