Which is why sats is preferable to bits as a unit of BTC
Probably because it takes 64 bits to represent a sat (or any amount small or large)?
Values are 64 bit little endian integers
bits are also used to refer to currency.
for example, 2 bits is the price for a shave and a haircut. 8 bits make a dollar, so a haircut should cost about 25 cents.
