The real danger in #x / #twitter isn't that they just restrict your #freedom of speech, but rather that they can slowly but surely guide the speech of those who don't dare disobey them in fear of losing a paycheck.

That is the end goal of all social media platforms to this day, they want you to only be able to speak their narratives and if you refuse they don't want you to make the easy living that those who DO speak their narratives make when they do so.

Thats what it's all about.

#nostr is the first attempt at a platform that allows you to truly be your own lifeboat and deny the social media censorship complex, however I am hoping to see more than nostr pop up so that this social media game can be kept honest.
