Most people have a reasonably calibrated moral compass and can’t comprehend the level of wickedness other people may possess and display in the 21 century. But the more you read into history, the more you start noticing the repeating patterns. Common knowledge dictates that we’ve outgrown this behaviour and belief systems as society has evolved, but data suggests maybe we haven’t.
