Was just thinking that yesterday I casually told airport security that I’m traveling with a Bitcoin wallet and they shrugged it off then let me go.

With the regulations that “Bitcoin bulls” & VC investors are trying to push, they would have asked me to unlock the wallet, declare how much BTC is inside and explain why I carry bitcoin with me before having it registered to some blockchain analysis company for tracking.

Take care what you wish for!

I think you can use a mobile wallet, installed only after arriving, login into the App and you’ll have your btc available again.

There is no bitcoin inside your wallet. Only the keys. If they demand to show them the keys, that's a violation of your rights. If you're concerned about this, use BlueWallet in plausible deniability mode.

You have no rights, you are a slave.
