Bluesky has decided to submit its ATprotocol to be an IETF standard.

So is this them basically proposing AT protocol as the "standard" for social media?
There are many IETF standards, often multiple for the same kind of thing. I don't think this is related to them forcing adoption. Personally, for me, IETF is the best of the standards bodies to chose from. I think this is a good step at moving ATprotocol away from being controlled by the company.
