well, i just became a kde plasma maxi
all of my displays are now pretty close to the same contrast, brightness and color balance
this was impossible with gnome, not to mention a host of other bullshits to deal with
i can't quite see how it has a per-screen adjustment but it's close enough now that if i had a hardware color calibrator i could have some sort of semblance of uniform color... the little display is a little washed out compared to the big ones but it's near enough i'm gonna call it
all wayland based I imagine
actually, no, i just installed "kde-full" and it's X11 because vibrantlinux detects displays that listen to xrandr
i'm quite amused... and i even can make it do my favourite dull grey green adapta theme on everything, gtk stuff already was but now kde stuff too, my browser chrome is also the same and so is my goland and whatever other else intellij stuff i might want to use (mostly only Clion)
this is how it should be... not going back to gnome after this, they lost me totally with gnome 4

kinda wish they'd do the "automatically apply" thing on the configs but whatever
was a bit of a nightmare dealing with the rotated displays at first but that was the hardest bit
