Easy now. No need to lash out. The banner on the profile didn't appear to me as one chosen by a 'new' user. Upon further use of the platform, I realized it's a very common banner, and even gave some thought to my initial reaction. Though, I never made the effort to return here and retract. I apologize. Still, you ought not lash out with venom in your words. I hope you have a better day fellow #nostrich

I was playing with you, hints the πŸ’œ and the follow 😘

Sorry if it felt harsh, sometimes I can be a bit too sarcastic πŸ™

You will never see me be hateful on here even to those that think I’m a guy πŸ₯΅

Nostr is new and I want to keep the vibe positive as we all work on growing it together πŸ«‚

Gm from my local wilderness

Okay now you feel real 😜

But really wow what a beautiful view and cozy vibe 😍

Thank you 😊 I have to admit, I took that photo in August, but it still makes for a good morning when I look at it. It's one of my favorite places to be in the world.

Have a nice day!

You can post this image in 5 years from now and it will still make for a good morning 🌲

Could you suggest where I can find places like this? I need more nature my life.

What part of the world are you in? I grab a recreation map and look for places in my region that are the furthest away from population densities, and have water + elevation.

Love that! What’s a recreation map?

I’m in the USπŸ™ŒπŸ½

That would be maps like USGS Quadrangles and USFS National Forest maps. The forest service maps tend to have said 'recreation' data like campgrounds and trailheads. The quad maps will be at smaller scale, like 1:24000), and have more topographical detail that you can use to find peaks, valleys and wet areas.

Grab an app line Gaia GPS or my tool of choice, Avenza. You can download maps for offline use and venture away from cell service.

Amazing, Thanks
