This person might blow through a couple of them if he doesn't set up his thermal regulations and 10Amp sense circuit. He's going to be pushing alot of heat depending on if they want to be pulsing or have it continuously on. He is going to have to also consider that even though he is supplying 155VDC, needs to consider the voltage drop and accommodate for that accordingly. Did a quick spin search and found an alternative and cheaper mosfet if he wants to try which is IRF840.

I would say my top considerations with be thermal management and current spike ( which again. If not regulated will definitely blow up hahaha or at the very least they will watch the back of the mosfet literally melt)"

Here's a system overview. Currently working on the part in red. Arrangement is quite unconventional, as far as using a grid tie inverter to assist/backfeed an offgrid inverter. Especially the addition of a genset on top of that lmao. It works though (the grid tie inverter accepted and inverted the rectified genset but drew too much current, hence the situation).

I just want to use a small (quiet) genset as a load assist/battery charging without doing a direct feedthrough into the offgrid inverter because the power from the diesel genset is too dirty for the grid-tie inverter to sync with.
