If government could produce wealth, then the USSR would have won the cold war, North Korea would have overshadowed South Korea, and East Germany would have annexed West Germany.

Alas, Europeans live in a fantasy land. We are so fucking wealthy that we think it is beneath us to gain basic understanding of how economics actually work and that it is driven by scarce resources - scarce resources that someone (like a farmer) needs to produce.
