Win-win situations are the best! It increases the whole pie, and not only redistribute it.

If we go for win-wins, we create value for both sides, if we create win-lose, we might not even create value, but we destroy someone else. So at the end of win-win the total sum is 2, in win-lose it is 0. If the total sum is 0, is it progress at all?

Also if we go for win-win, more people will highly likely help us, which can increase our speed, because we can levarage more people.

On the other hand, if we go for win-win, we constantly create and replace, and do not destroy. This is useful, because if you just replace, you can still reuse what is replaced contrary when it is destroyed. Also this means, constantly new and new things will arise, that might induce the creation of more.

So I would say, that a win-win mentality could lead to a positive upward spiral which could increase the well-being of a population. Contrary to the case, when we only focus on I-win, you-lose, where only the winner wins, everyone loses.
