The real custodian play would be to buy on Fidelity and then transfer to Coinbase for long term storage haha

You’ve probably said this before, but why are you a custodian user?

Mostly for friends who are not going to not use a custodian. I know plenty of people who will not be getting a hardware wallet any time soon.

Same. The good that they are doing by buying bitcoin is maybe reversed by their kyc custodial strategy. But at least they are learning about it. That’s still good.
