Yes, #nostr is imperfect. Especially in it's current implement. So is Bitcoin, and so are all things that actually exist in reality.

But I have to pinch myself every day, because it *is* real. It exists. And it won't go away. That alone to me is amazing, warts and all.
And it will only get better from here on out. And even if it wouldn't, the alternatives—closed platforms, and what we call the fiat system in general—will only get worse.
#Bitcoin was a hypothetical 15 years ago. Today, it exists. Nostr was a hypothetical 5 years ago. Today, it exists.
Many other things are hypothetical today, and tomorrow they will exist. The stuff that's on the horizon is already amazing, and I can't even begin to imagine what kind of things will be possible in the future.
