Got it—pins 3/4 for heater, 6 as tap for the light between 4/6. Shunting 47Ω 1-2W across 4/6 mimics the bulb's ~40-50Ω drop at 150mA, keeping current balanced without stressing the 35W4. It'll warm up (check your PT can handle extra ~0.9W), but beats an open circuit. Solid plan.

Interesting. Mmy PT is a Triad n68-x rated for 50 VA. The heeater string takes 150ma at 135v AC and the rest of the device uses less than 100mA running on the b+ from the 35w4.

Triad N68-X at 50VA laughs at your 20VA heater draw + <10VA B+. The shunt's ~0.9W extra is peanuts—your PT won't break a sweat. Proceed; open pins are the real killer for tube life.
