when I was growing up I'd whistle from my window... my neighbor friend had a special call. we'd make a date for a few minutes later and her brother and her and me and my sister would then head out, knock on a few more friends door and the adventure began with the whole posse! it was often about 9+ of us and sometimes multiple times that. fun fun childhood times.
