For people like me who are not that techy it’s quite easy to use a ledger (and still safe imo)

But yes there are great points against it. I’ll buy myself a Jade soon enough. I just don’t see the point in already buying it instead of buying some more sats…

But I’ll get there

Nah, homie. You gotta get on that. After Legder's data breach, they proved they can't be trusted. Imagine how much info about people's holdings got leaked. Jade is just as simple as a Ledger and it's open source. Mr. Adam Back also helped make the Blockstream Jade. That's a big plus, imo. The Jade is also BTC only. 👌

I know and you’re 100% right! I’ll get on it as soon as I have some spare fiat! 🙌🏽🫂

I will say, a company that makes a necklace wallet product speaks volumes to their security mindset. 😂

My humble opinion about this. If you use Ledger Hardware + Ledger Live App + Connect Ledger Bitcoin Node. You create yourself a possible point of failure which is something I don’t like. Even if Ledger people are really well intentioned this kind of setup might have some vulnerabilities. So at least you can use Sparrow in Desktop as a wallet and use your ledger as a signature device. Or even better create a multisig using blue wallet from your phone and use it as a signing device + ledger. So you will have a device for signing completely isolated from computer at least. Or you don’t I don’t know I might act paranoid when it comes to have a secure setup. But my last advice never transfer your funda before you test and feel really comfortable with your setup.
