Last week we ran a contest asking for some input on bitcoin education.

As expected, Nostr pulled through. What an amazing community here.

As a little bonus, we will be zapping all comments under this post. Let us know what topics we 1000% should be discussing for bitcoin education.

We want to help people acquire bitcoin and keep it safe - OFF THE EXCHANGES.

Starting very simple. Definitely need to cover what an open ledger actually is - some of my friends didn’t have a bank book when they were young, and it shows!

Talk not only about self-custody, but a family oriented mindset that includes estate planning for keeping your bitcoin in the family and out of the hands of the state, safe from accidental loss.

This would include training heirs and successors, transfer planning, titanium plates with keys and words punched in, access to software tools, etc...

Best to start teaching folks skills to earn more so they can AFFORD to buy and save bitcoin.
