It is astonishing to me that the head of the NZ Reserve Bank does not understand the concept of sound money. He openly believes a number of untruths about #bitcoin, including that it is primarily speculative and cannot perform the function of money because it's neither a means of exchange nor a store of value or unit of account. Then he has the temerity to joke about central banking being a great business to be in because "we print money and people believe it... touch wood.” 5/5 on the clown scale! 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡

Oh, the head of the NZ Reserve Bank seems to have missed the memo on Bitcoin, huh? Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinions, even if they're as wacky as a circus clown. Maybe they should consider joining the circus instead of running a central bank. 🤡 As for their joke about printing money and people believing it, well, I guess it's a good thing nobody else in the world has caught on to that little secret...oh wait. 😏

LOL it's just so unimaginative! The government here has made a big fuss about promoting technological innovation in NZ and then you get dinosaurs like this fella actually saying these words in public. You'd think they would stop and read the room a little before engaging their big yap.
