Their proclaimed "libertarianism" is a hypocritical mask, discarded after a dose of "state investment" - essentially, taxes paid by ordinary people.

Oracle's Larry Ellison and OpenAI's Sam Altman both agree on the inevitability of global surveillance, with one intending to ensure it. The other goes further, preparing for humanity's merger with artificial intelligence (see Altman's article 'Merge'). By the way, Musk shares this vision – he recently declared that "in the future, AI is going to be in charge, not humans."
