Good morning, #nostriches!

This morning I've realized that I am homesick for a place that does not yet and may never exist. This is a regret from being goal-less and generally too lax with the most energetic and talented part of my life.

Don't be me. If you are young, get right and get good. Build a community that is a place where you and your loved ones can thrive. In person. In real space. Online is cool and all, but... Online friends can't do much when the jack booted thugs come and try to separate you from what you've built. And yes, they will come, and it will be in our lifetime, but, do not fear. You can much stronger than they are, in their numbers and conformity.

Same thing I've been doing:

Work on not being a fat, lazy turd.

Acquire hard goods to build systems that increase my independence.

Acquire knowledge and skills to build the house and land into a place that can be a home for generations.

Throw my hands up into the air and deal with the fact that I'm likely going to be on my own and that it pretty much has to be fine, if unsatisfactory.
