Lighthearted fun read, especially if you’ve ever played nethack, rogue, DND or any of those kinds of games.
Premise: Aliens take over earth and a number of humans compete in a galactically televised dungeon crawl to try to save their planet - main character is this guy Carl who enters the dungeon with his girlfriends cat and lots of hilarious wierd stuff happens as they try to play the game.
Ok, I’m gonna read it. I played og D&D in the 70’s. Back when your characters died often, none of this 5e op character sizzles! Jk, 5e is pretty good. 😂🤣
