I'ma newbie to Bitcoin

I personally use a lot of web proxies

Would you say buying usdt on an kyc exchange

And using an non kyc exchange

To swap that usdt to BTC

What's your take on a strategy like that?

Depends. How much do you truly care about privacy?

Buying USDT on a KYC exchange means your identity is linked to that purchase. Even if you swap it later on a non-KYC exchange, the original purchase still traces back to you.

Also, USDT is a centralized stablecoin, meaning Tether can freeze addresses if pressured.

If you care about privacy, you’ll pay a premium, but you can buy on various places (depending on location). Alternatively you can use BTC ATMs.

Thanks 🙏
